The Sun Experiment

While this isn't a truly scientific experiment, we just wanted to demonstrate how the suns rays affect the temperature of windows and, therefore, your home. In this video we use a heat lamp to represent the sun and an infrared thermometer to read the temperatures of regular clear glass and our own. As you can see, even after only 8 seconds, there's an 11 degree difference in temperature.
